Momma Said There'd Be Day's Like This

Anyone ever tell you be careful what you wish for? Well, I wished for a new job that paid better, had no evening hours and worked at a faster pace.

I got it! I started working at the CMH Rural Health Clinic in Robinson and for the past 3 days the above photo is pretty much what me and my dest have looked like.

Now don't get me wrong. I really like my new job. It is better pay, does Not have evening hours and is Very fast paced. I have worked in a medical clinic before with 8 physicians and was never this busy. The difference I guess is that there we had 3 receptionists checking patients in and out and now there is 2. One for in and one for out! I am also doing medical billing which is something I have never done before.

The people in the office are all very nice though and have been very patient with training me and answering questions. I feel bad because I feel as though this puts everyone else behind but they have been very nice nonetheless.

Bring It On! That is what I have to say for now. I kind of raised my eyebrown and made a "you're kidding" look when they told me on my first day that it would be 6 months before I was "comfortable" in my new job. They were'nt kidding!

No in between for me...from one extreme to the other. From not being busy at all to balls to the wall! Makes the days go by a lot faster. Hey, I didn't think about it until just now but I guess that would also mean that the projected 6 months will go alot faster too!

Wish me luck and if you don't see me for a while, you might want to check under the stack of papers on my desk in Robinson. I will probably be burried there for a while.

Happy Father's Day

Happy fathers day to my dad, my wonderful husband and my brother. These three men are different in so many ways but yet so alike in some ways. They all have a wonderful sense of family values and deserve, truly deserve to have the Best Father's Day that a man could have. All three have impacted my life in so many ways that I just wanted to say Thank You and I am truly blessed to have you a part of my life. They all three also think that Daegan is wonderful. Big, Big deal to me! So to these three and every father out there Happy Father's Day! You all deserve it!

Ah The Weekend

I can't exactly say it was a vacation. It was however our third camping trip. We are getting pretty good at the last minute, throw everyting into the camper, spend a ton of money at the grocery store and go to the campground thing though. It is or seems to be very stressful at the time but somehow though once it is unloaded, the fire is lit and you are able to sit down for a minute and reflect it is worth it.

Thank you Johnny for suggesting we go camping. It was a wonderful Saturday/Sunday at Sam Parr and we had a wonderful, relaxing time. Also, thanks Bill and Jessica for coming to out to visit. The adult conversation and the time spent with friends is Priceless!

To sum it all up.......The purchase of the camper was money well spent. Good times with family and friends are memories that will last a lifetime!

I will also add that the above picture, no matter how relaxing the camping is is pretty much what we look like when we get home. I guess we relax hard and play hard too.

And I thought I was going to have a day off!

Do you every really look forward to a day off only to get a big wake up call and find out that it really isn't gonna happen? Well that is what happened to me for today. I have today off between switching jobs after 4 years and chose this to be my relax day. Well, not exactly. My dryer shot craps last week and Johnny graciously took the laundry that I had done to the laundry mat to dry. Unfortunately the days and weeks being what they are we have not been able to find the time to go get a new one. So..today, on my day off...I get to wash about 7 loads of laundry and pack them to the laundry mat to dry, fold, re-load and then pack them back home where you all know the routine....sort and put away! AAAGGGHHH
Do we ever get a break?

So I've decided, I'm just gonna grit my teeth, smile and do it! I mean what choice do I have. I personally don't have that many clothes and the T-Ball uniform is in the laundry and we have a game tonight! So if any of you out there actually had today off and enjoyed it I'm glad for you. No really I am!

I'll get one one of these days! LOL

Have a great weekend all and don't forget the dad's!

Does anyone else have a completely different kid after a haircut?

It always amazes me to see the difference between the "winter" boy and the "summer" boy! I also always seem to forget that as soon as we get the "summer" haircut that we also get a very active little boy! It's as if all the hair on his head is weighing him down and once the clippers hit it the weight is removed and he is free to move (JUMP) around!

Well, I guess with T-Ball and all the other things we will be doing the extra energy was worth it!

Thanks Jess!
The haircut is great (on the big boy too)!
